2025 was the year MuyuRide grew up. We went from a promising startup with 40 routes to a national platform covering all 47 counties. We processed over KES 180 million in deliveries. We onboarded 4,820 verified travelers. And we did it without losing a single parcel.

The Numbers

  • 31,400 successful deliveries (up from 8,200 in 2024)
  • KES 180M+ in total delivery value processed
  • 4,820 verified travelers (up from 1,200)
  • 280 active routes (up from 120)
  • 98% on-time delivery rate
  • 4.87 average traveler rating
  • 0 lost parcels
  • 47 counties covered

What We Got Right

The guarantor system. When we launched it in late 2023, some people thought it was too complicated. "Senders don't want to verify guarantors," they said. They were wrong. The guarantor system is the single biggest reason our fraud rate is near-zero and our trust scores are the highest in the industry.

What We Got Wrong

Our dispute resolution process was too slow in Q1 2025. We were taking 7–10 days to resolve disputes, which frustrated both senders and travelers. We rebuilt the process from scratch in Q2, and by Q4 we were resolving 90% of disputes within 3 business days. We should have done this sooner.

What's Coming in 2026

  • MuyuRide Business: Bulk delivery accounts for SMEs and e-commerce sellers.
  • International routes: Nairobi–Kampala and Nairobi–Dar es Salaam by Q3 2026.
  • MuyuRide Storage: Verified storage providers in 20 cities.
  • Instant payouts: Traveler earnings released within 1 hour of delivery confirmation.
  • MuyuRide for Students: Dedicated student travel network across all Kenyan universities.

Thank you to every sender who trusted us with their parcels, every traveler who carried them with care, and every team member who built this platform. 2026 is going to be bigger. We're just getting started.
