University students are one of the most reliable traveler segments on MuyuRide. They travel on predictable schedules (semester breaks, weekends), they're tech-savvy, and they have strong community accountability through their institutions. Today, we're giving them the recognition they deserve.
Student KYC is an additional verification layer for university and college students. By verifying your student ID and institution, you get a "Verified Student" badge on your profile, priority matching for orders on your home-campus route, and a reduced service fee of 6% (vs. the standard 8–12%).
Student KYC is available for students at all accredited Kenyan universities and colleges. If your institution isn't in our list, email students@muyuride.co.ke and we'll add it within 48 hours.
